HOW IT WORKS?
We can chat through your feelings and worries in person (or online). I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor so I use different therapeutic tools and approaches to suit your needs. We will work together to help you and positively change your mental health and emotional well being.
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
My name is Alison Goolnik.
I am an integrative trained psychotherapist and counsellor and my approach draws mainly on psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural therapy principles. Everyone is different so I adapt the approach to suit you and benefit you. What is key is for us to build a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.
I have worked across a wide range of settings offering psychotherapy and counselling in schools, further education colleges, hospitals and for university students supporting clients with a broad range of issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, financial difficulties, exam worries, low self-esteem, trauma, addiction and bullying.
